The UK Top Twenty Singles for July 7th, 1979

On Wednesday, I posted a video I made of the Top Twenty Singles in the UK Charts for the week of July 1st, 1978. Given the overwhelming popularity of that video (well, a couple of people said they liked it, and I’m a writer, so to me that’s encouragement enough!) I’ve decided to post another UK Top Twenty Chart. This time, we’re looking at this week in the year 1979. As I said on Wednesday, I’m picking on this particular time period since this is the time when I really started paying attention to the charts, so it’s quite a special time for me with lots of great memories.
