WriteOnCon is Where I’ll Be…
WriteOnCon, the free online writing conference for picture book, MG, and YA writers, officially starts tomorrow. The forums are open already, but the Ninja Agents aren’t supposed to start visiting until midnight. While my novel is complete, it’s not ready to query (it’s still in need of revisions and beta reads), so I’m not sure I’m going to submit the query letter for critique. However, it might be nice to know if what I have entices people to at least check out the pages. I would definitely like some feedback on those first five pages (and first 250 words), so I’ll be submitting to those forums without doubt.
All this to say, with my attention given to the WriteOnCon forums and presentations, I’ll probably not have a whole lot of time for blogging over the next few days. If you really miss me, you can join me at WOC, or you can troll the blog archives. There are plenty of articles here to keep you busy. However, something tells me you have better things to do with your life than read through my blog!
If you’re planning on attending WOC (and I’m pleased to say, many of my blog friends are), I’ll see you there. Otherwise, I’ll catch you on the flip side, as they say…
I’m there too, Colin! How exciting! I need to find your threads.
I don’t have anything posted yet, Julie… still polishing. I might post tonight–tomorrow morning at the latest. I’ll be looking for yours. Not that you’ll need my critique. I’m sure they’re great as they are. 🙂
