The Big 5-0
Yes, today is my birthday. I was born in 1970. Do the math. π
I was going to post a reflective article about all the things I’ve learned over the past fifty years, and thoughts about getting older. But I’ve been having fun with the family and haven’t had time to give such an article the attention it deserves. I still want to write that article, but I’ll save it for another day (Lord willing).
For now, use this day as an excuse to celebrate with me. We’re all enduring various forms of lock-down and social distancing thanks to COVID-19, so if you need a reason to do something fun today, please feel free to use my birthday as that reason. Watch a movie, have a beer/glass of wine/smoothie/coffee, eat some cake, play a game with the kids, take a day off from homeschooling–whatever you like!
Have a wonderful day, everyone!
Happy birthday Colin. May the next 50 years be as exciting! Love to the whole family and enjoy your day!ππΎπ°
Thank you, Jane! I hope you’re all doing well. I had a lovely day with the family. π
Happy 50th Birthday, Colin! It’s a major milestone and I’m glad you’re taking the time to celebrate. I hope you have a wonderful day and that there’s cake involved!!
Thank you, Claire. Yes, there was cake. Chocolate Guinness cake. And it was delicious! π
And a belated happy birthday to you!!!
Thanks, Jennifer! π
Hmmm, I know I wrote you a happy birthday comment, but it seems to have been eaten by cyber gremlins (maybe they mistook it for cake). I hope you had a terrific day.
If it was a chocolate comment, then it definitely got eaten by my blog! π Thanks for the well-wishes. I had a wonderful day.
